Amazon has this really great way of rating books, by using actualy visitor votes. The problem is that until recently this voting system was vulnerable to a cross site request forgery. The URL that was accessed to register a single vote was spread across different sites. Using and invisible iframe people were made to register their votes against books and literature regarding Gays and Lesbians. |

Using javascript as a hacking tool has always been a great idea... its easy to learn, easy to progam in and most imporatantly ... its everywhere. Every browser that claims to be a browser implements javascript. Its in everybody's computer and stand alone script written in javascript can run on any system that is or can be used for internet browsing. But that is just one side of he axe ... if hackers leverage the javascript to attack machines the attack would work on any machine that has a web browser and is used for browsing once in a while ... enter Jikto. |

The reason why most people are'nt secure over the internet is that most of the attacks against individuals are non-technical and based on the human condition. The so-called social networks are an effective tool for the social predators as well, this was proved again by a quintessential social predator recently. |
